| Best in Show From an interesting line-up I short-listed ten and then found my Best in Show in Colletts' rising 3 year old Afghan bitch Kazzlyn She's the One at Mhasud who was so beautifully balanced both standing and on the move, which she did with great style. Lovely type with femininity and substance and everything in the right place. Reserve to her was Marchant's 4 year old Borzoi Starborough Sea King - a handsome, free moving male in firm condition and with a good sound front who also looked the part at all times. Very satisfying to go over. Third in the line-up was Doughtys' Ridgeback Rubiltra Chizarira - a 2 year old bitch of good type and in super hard condition and with movement to match. Strong, sound, sturdy and still feminine Fourth was Allen's Basenji Zordia's Wazzala - stunning baby of just 6 months on the day. Just needs to firm-up a little in front movement, but who wants the finished article at that age? Absolutely classic for type and outline one the move which she did with great freedom and carried herself so well for such a baby. Jeff Crawford |
